Our ideas and practices are anchored in The Poetry of Aging, our platform for living at Sonnet Hill.
Like a poem, each person has their own pace, style and personality. We truly believe that there is no right or wrong way to be yourself.
As lifespans get longer and research gets deeper, we are able to better understand the elements of aging. And while we all have some common needs – like safety, health and comfort – we have many more dynamic needs that shift from year to year, month to month, day to day.
At a time when one person needs a quiet space, another might want the opportunity to chat, paint or share a cup of coffee.
We design our spaces, craft our programs and train our people all to meet different needs at different times. We have a commitment to meeting our resident’s not where they “used to be” or “should be,” but right where they are at.
You are your own poem. Brief or verbose, metered or whimsical, simple or complex—no matter what your style—you are perfect in your own way.
